PCF Sparkletots @ Sengkang East 103 SSDB project was led by the N1 children. As this year SSDB theme is on ‘Our Family and Community’ the children is going to be ‘Kindness Superstar’. Through various activities, children learn and understand different acts of kindness as well as how they can use their kindness superpowers to bring joy and hope to the people and environment.
The activities were planned in four parts, where they learn what does kindness means. Followed by how they can be kind to their family and extending to their neighbours and finally the community.
We also collaborated with our community partner The Red Pencil Singapore and held a fundraising sale which aims to support the art therapy provided by them.
The N1 children were not alone in the fund raising efforts. Children from other levels also stepped in and contributed to the sale as well.
During the SSDB finale party, we invited parents on a virtual journey to take a look at the various activities the N1 children have been engaged in their SSDB journey.
Our community partner also attended the finale party to celebrate the end of the fruitful project.
This year SSDB project definitely made an impact on the children’s. We are so proud of the little ones efforts in making a positive change to the world in their own little ways.
