During our Family Day, we incorporated the use of recyclables to send a message to children and families that there’s more to these items than just ‘throwing them away.’
At this event, children were required to complete a series of tasks to earn stamps and complete their task cards.
Through these activities, we hoped to show families and children that eco-efforts go beyond recycling. Some items can be repurposed and reused, and cultivating eco-friendly habits can have a lasting impact.
