We celebrated Mother’s Day on 12 May 2023 at Singapore Christian Home with our N2 to K2 children. This year is a little different as we went down physically to visit the elderly.
Children did a dramatization to a Chinese story “Xiao Ke Dou Zhao Ma Ma”. They were then involved in games with the elderly. Some of the game played were:

Lastly, we had a sing along session with actions to the different songs:

Children were very engaged as they interacted with the elderly. They were also observed to be attentive towards the elderly’s needs. At the end of the session, children handed out a Mother’s Day Card to everyone, specially crafted by them. It was a very heartwarming and joyful occasion. Everyone was enjoying themselves throughout.
