Watching the video “Save Our World”, the children pointed out how the rubbish are on the floor and thrown every where, prompting a discussion about where should rubbish be thrown and what should we do when we see rubbish on the ground. Putting words into actions, we decided to go for a walk and pick up rubbish we see along the way!
Along the corridors, no rubbish were seen. But wait until we start walking on the pathway between the grasses!
There were so much rubbish! From safety tapes, sweet wrappers, sweet drinks, tissues to even an entire pack of wet tissue, there were so many different types of rubbish that we found hidden in the grass as we walked around our neighbourhood!
We picked up an entire bag of rubbish! And where should we throw the rubbish we picked up? The rubbish bin of course! The children also promised not to throw rubbish on the floor, be it now or in the future when they grow up. Let’s all be responsible citizens and take care of our beautiful neighbourhood!
