The children embarked on a fun and educational journey to Jacob Ballas Children’s Garden, where they had the opportunity to visit the Animal Classroom. There, they met rescued animals—cats, guinea pigs, a terrapin, and a rabbit—currently cared for by the Animal & Veterinary Service (AVS).
This meaningful experience taught the children about the responsibilities of pet ownership, how to care for pets at home, and the importance of being a responsible pet owner. These lessons were shared through engaging stories and hands-on interactions.
