Our centre PCF Sparkletots Preschool @ Kembangan Chai Chee Blk 326 has embarked in 2023 Start Small Dream Big (SSDB) project. Our theme for this year’s project is “Every Giving of Little Kindness Matters!” We will be collaborating with National Council of Social Services (NCSS), Community Chest (Sharity) and National Library Board (NLB). Children will be developing the values such as ‘Giving’ and ‘Kindness’ through engaging activities and songs.
In preparation to the launch party, children were introduced to this year’s theme song “Kindness” by The Juicebox Jukebox. Children were exposed to different acts of kindness and giving through the song lyrics. They practised singing and dancing to this theme song with their classmates and teachers.
Specially this year children worked together as a school to create our centre’s very first and very own mascot! Children painted their hands either in pink or red and printed it on the heart shape. The N1 and N2 children also did their part in decorating the mascot. Teacher assisted the younger ones to paint their hands. Children printed their hands onto the heart shape which also symbolises their pledge in their journey of being kind and giving to others in various ways.
