Activity: Building our indoor garden
As part of our discussion during Current Affairs, the chidlren found out that plants can be grown indoors as long as there is enough sunlight, water, and nutrients given to the plants! Hence the children decided to build an indoor garden in our school. The children helped to move the things from our Former Resource Room into our new storage space, and looked for recycled items to build our garden. With the guidance of teacher Philiz, the children saw their visions of their dream Indoor Garden, come to life!
The chidlren also wanted a pond in our garden so that we can have aquatic plants (the children read from a book that there are plants that can live in water), so we used the children’s old Water Play Tub to use as a pond.
