Our SSDB main event this year was made even more special through our partnership with ART:DIS (Singapore) Ltd. A staff member from ART:DIS came to our school to share about their meaningful work in empowering persons with disabilities through art.
Inspired by this, our children worked together to create class artworks for auction and brainstormed ideas for handicrafts and snacks they could make. Every effort was put into preparing these items with love and creativity, knowing that they would be used to help raise funds.
Through this collaboration, the children not only learned about compassion and empathy, but also the joy of giving back to the community.
