“The rainforest got so many animals living inside so we need to take care of the rainforest so that they will always have a home!”
Our K1 and K2 children participated actively in the Fragile Forest Guided Tour, organised by Singapore Zoo at Mandai Wildlife Reserve.
“The bats will hang on the tree branches then they will eat the food and watermelons so the trees are so important to the rainforests!”
Our children were introduced to the Fragile Forest bio-dome within Singapore Zoo and they explored the four layers of a rainforest. They learnt about different animals living in each layer of the rainforest and how they play a vital role in the ecosystem. As they engaged in an immersive experience on the importance of rainforests, they discussed more in-depth about protecting endangered species and preserving their natural habitats!
