On 22 April 2025, the K1A and K1B children celebrated Earth Day with enthusiasm and purpose, embracing the themes “Our Power, Our Planet” and “Little Heroes for a Greener Earth” as part of their “Start Small, Dream Big” journey.
The day began with a lively Recycling Relay and a neighbourhood parade, where the children proudly wore their “Start Small, Dream Big” hats to spread awareness. They sorted recyclables into the correct bins and participated in a Litter Pick-Up Walk to help clean the community.
Both classes engaged in meaningful, hands-on activities that highlighted the importance of environmental care. The children brought recyclables from home, while parents actively contributed items, turning the celebration into a shared moment of learning and community spirit. In addition, a fun water-saving challenge taught the children about conservation, followed by storytime and thoughtful discussions on reducing plastic use.
Through play, action and collaboration, the children experienced a joyful and impactful earth day, providing that even small hands can make a big difference.
