This is the first time for My First Skool @ EDC01 to participate in the SSDB president’s challenge. Children learn to care for the elderly around them in their little ways, despite the COVID-19 challenges.
We partnered with St. Luke Eldercare. Teachers and children used recycled cardboards to create games like bean bags tic tac toe, portable mini golf course, tabletop shoot game, etc. We also have children take for their potted plants and bonsai in school, watering them daily before giving them to the elderly. We organised food drive, collected food donated by our teachers and parents for the St. Luke elderly.
