Through our SSDB 2025 project ‘Bridging Hearts: Connecting Generations Through Culture and Care’, the children developed a deeper sense of empathy, compassion and respect for the elderly. They learned that small acts of kindness - such as creating gifts, performing and spending time with seniors - can bring joy and comfort to others. Throughout the journey, the children grew to appreciate the contributions of the older generation and recognised the importance of caring for them with love and understanding. This project not only strengthened intergenerational bonds but also nurtured in each child the values of gratitude, respect and community spirit that will continue to guide them beyond the classroom.
