For this year’s project, we focused on the theme, “Understanding Wants vs. Needs”. Children created piggy banks using recycled bottles and materials to learn the value of saving up for their wants, as well as the importance of generosity, especially towards our less fortunate brothers and sisters. They talked about how some people around the world are not able to have their basic needs met, which is why we should feel blessed, and share what we have to others too.
