Children were introduced and engaged in discussion on the topic of sustainability and 3Rs. Teachers brought in different materials and allowed the children to explore with it. The children also recalled ways they practised the 3Rs in school and at home. Thereafter, children were brought outdoors to identify the recycling bins around the neighbourhood during their outdoor walk.
In another activity, children were engaged when teachers read the storybook about recycling and the 3 Rs. The book tells and shows the different examples of the 3Rs. Children also said their pledge such as “We pledge to save the earth” “We pledge to save water!”
