As part of our SSDB project ‘Kindness with Mindfulness’, our teachers had liaised with SBS Transit and arranged for a virtual Safety and Graciousness Talk on 8th June 2022!
Children were active listening to the sharing and voiced out their thoughts whenever they were able to relate to what was shared. Thank you for the informative talk and listening to our sharing too!
Prior to this virtual session, our preschool teachers and children had a virtual SSDB discussion session on 1st June 2022 to recap and share what we have learnt and done ever since our Launch Party.
We also had a pre-briefing on the virtual talk by SBS Transit. Happy to share that our children had brainstormed for ideas and came to a consensus to prepare thank you cards and snack packs to show our appreciation for the virtual Safety and Graciousness Talk session by SBS Transit. As follow up activities, our teachers have read the e-books by LTA namely “Mindy’s First MRT Ride” and “Max and Robbie’s Magical Train Ride”. Children discussed and shared what they remembered and learnt from the virtual talk and daily experiences too.
Our teachers have also shared the e-books with our parents to reinforce our learning at home! Additionally, children have also brought home a home learning kit provided by Singapore Kindness Movement (SKM).
