Although our Nursery 2 children were unable to join the intergenerational activity with the seniors from Precious Active Ageing Centre on 8 July 2025 due to wet weather, they still played a meaningful role in the event.
In their classroom, the N2 children worked together to create a special gift for the elderly. Using recycled materials, they painted, drew, and decorated a collaborative pencil holder with bright colours and cheerful artwork. Each child contributed their creativity, making the gift truly heartfelt and unique.
The completed pencil holder will be presented to the seniors as a token of appreciation and friendship. Through this experience, the N2 children learnt that even small acts of kindness can bring joy to others, and that they too can play a part in caring for the community.
Their contribution reflects the spirit of “Little Hands, Big Change”, showing that thoughtful actions, no matter how small, can make a difference.
