Kidz Meadow Childcare @ Jurong West held the Start Small Dream Big (SSDB) Launch Party on 30 April 2021 with the theme, “Marvels of Nature.” This year’s SSDB Project aims to show awareness of the importance of responsibility, care and respect for nature. To have a glimpse of our upcoming SSDB project, the children embarked on different activities related to nature.
Plastic bottle caps are among the top five ocean trash items that are dangerous for our nature and deadly for sea life. The Nursery 2 class upcycled a box to create a Plastic Bottle Caps bank where everyone can drop off their plastic bottle caps. This bank will be placed in front of our centre until the end of May 2021.
In K1 class, they expressed their thoughts about the theme by making a poster; while the K2 children wrote a letter to Mother Nature.
The children enjoyed themselves and we look forward to continuing and accomplishing this project with the help of our Community Partners and families in the months to come.
