Teacher constructed a model of An Animal Shelter and explained that it provides a temporary home for dogs, cats and other animals that are offered for ‘Adoption’.
What does “Adopt Don’t Shop” mean?
Adopting a pet in Singapore can be one of the best choices, not only do we gain a companion but will be saving a life too. However, a pet is a life time commitment. We must make sure everyone in the family agrees to have a pet before bringing one home. The children also learned that there are other ways to help the shelter animals if unable to adopt one. We can volunteer to help out at a shelter and through donations.
The children were delighted and excited to know that they will be creating and making ‘Pets’ for animal causes and through the sales of their handicrafts, the proceeds is going to a very worthy wonderful cause for SPCA.

Love them everyday
Give them food and water too
Let them run and play

They are proud to be ‘responsible pets owners’.
