Our centre launched our SSDB project on the 17 April 2018. Our children have been actively engaged in the various activities to know more about ‘Kindness On Board’ where they were exposed to the different heroes in our community. Through the different articles that were shared, the children decided that they wanted to learn more about bus captains.
- Kindsville Field trip
Prior to the field trip, the teachers taught the children the 5 Magic words and what are the proper etiquettes that should be displayed while on the bus. They were engaged in various activities while learning, such as role-playing the different scenarios using the 5 Magic words.
On a field trip to ‘Kindsville’, the 5 Magic Words were reinforced and the children got to board an actual bus! They got to tap their cards and role-played a scenario of giving up their seats to people who need them more.
