Today, we learned about the life cycle of an Aedes mosquito through many engaging activities.
We watched a video on the life cycle of an Aedes mosquito. We were very amazed on the process of the transformation of the egg to adult.
Then, we worked in groups to discuss each stage of the life cycle of the Aedes mosquito and arranged the sequence of the stages of the life cycle of an Aedes mosquito using the picture cards.
We also used our bodies to represent each stage of the Aedes mosquito in its life cycle. Some of us curled up into a ball to represent the ”egg”, and stand tall and spread out our arms to represent the adult stage.
Lastly, we create a poster that highlights the life cycle of an Aedes mosquito.
