The children had an engaging and nurturing Green Learning Journey with Singapore Environment Council and North West CDC. They gained an understanding of the earth and its natural resources.
They pretended to be the earth being covered by atmosphere and learned the need to conserve natural resources as well as what they can do to protect the environment. The facilitator showed pictures and videos on the natural resources and the children identified them. She engaged the children in playing games and singing songs with actions such as picking trash to clean the environment and digging soil to plant trees.They learnt to respect the environment around them.
