Our explorers were introduced to ‘A Whale’s Tale’ where from there they learnt how a whale could have its tail caught in the net, how turtles or other fishes could be trapped in the trash and also gain understanding that the amount of trash that was cleared by the whale was dangerous for it in the end.
They then explored an ocean sensory box and threw in paper and plastic which allowed them to observe what would happen to the ocean if they were sea creatures.
From here they realized how important it was to not throw litter into the ocean as it would kill the sea creatures!
