The children were learned about sustainability through food. They experienced how to be a farmer, working under the hot Sun and planting vegetables. The children duck-walked around “planting” vegetables. After planting the vegetables, the children talked about their experience. Many of the childrne talked about how difficult it is to plant vegetables and be a farmer. The children learned to cherish the food they eat through this experience.
