In celebration of Parents’ Day and as part of our Start Small Dream Big (SSDB) journey, M.Y World@Compassvale Ancilla hosted a vibrant Eco-Fashion Family Day on 4 June 2025. The event brought together children, parents, and teachers in a meaningful way to honour family bonds while encouraging sustainable living.
The morning began with a lively performance of “Save the Planet” by our Kindergarten 2 children, setting the tone for a day filled with joy and purpose. Families were invited to walk the runway, proudly showcasing their eco-fashion outfits creatively designed using recycled materials. Each outfit reflected the love, thought, and teamwork that went into making it.
Children and parents also engaged in interactive green-themed games. In “Save the Water!”, fathers carried their children to retrieve and match puzzle pieces that revealed water-saving messages. In the “Eco-Fashion Designer” challenge, mothers and children worked together to style selected teachers in fun and imaginative outfits using recyclables.
The event concluded with a heartwarming sing-along of “Save the Planet” and a presentation of the Most Eco-Friendly Outfit Award for each level. The celebration served as a reminder that small actions, when done together, can make a big difference: at home, in school, and for the planet.
It was a truly special day that highlighted the creativity of our children, the involvement of our families, and our shared commitment to creating a greener tomorrow.
