Maplebear SIA Sportsclub is happy to be part of this year’s SSDB programme. We chose the theme of Celebrating Diversity as we believe that we must learn to accept and get along with people of all cultures, races or religions. As teachers, we believe it is our duty to prepare our children for the world outside. It is a very diverse world that they will encounter and our hope is that they understand, “It is OKAY to be different”.
We launched the project with Ms Sally, our principal, explaining to our class of K1 and K2 children what Diveristy means. We then created an acronym using the word DIVERSITY!
