The children at Skool4Kidz Campus @ Sengkang Riverside Park celebrated Biodiversity Day on the 18th of May 2022. We celebrated Biodiversity Day as a reminder on the importance of conserving the plant and animal life around us, including its habitats too.
Children were engaged in a discussion about biodiversity. Teachers showed videos and slides of what is biodiversity and why it is so important for us to protect and conserve it.
Children were engaged on hands-on activities both inside and outside the classroom about the celebration, Biodiversity. The children learnt about the flora and fauna there are around us as they went outdoors to discover about it up-close.
The children were also involved in various crafts too as they created artworks out of recyclables and natural items they picked out during their outdoor walks.
Through this event, we hope all children of SKC would protect nature, respect biodiversity and nourish all life. 🌳
