We concluded our SSDB project with a meaningful finale event dedicated to our unsung heroes. The celebration commenced with a video montage featuring children expressing heartfelt appreciation for the remarkable individuals whose dedication and care make our school a special place every day.
Our K1 children delighted everyone with a thank-you song performance, while our K2 children showcased a lively dance. The non-teaching staff greatly appreciated and enjoyed the wonderful performances by the children.
Additionally, the children prepared thank-you cards, crafts and care packages for our unsung heroes. The preparation process was captured in a video montage, which was shown before the children presented the gifts to the staff. The staff felt deeply touched by the effort put into organising the entire event for them.
Throughout the SSDB project, our children gained a deeper understanding of the important contributions made by our non-teaching staff. They learnt valuable values such as care, gratitude and appreciation, which were demonstrated through their thoughtful actions and expressions of thanks. This experience helped nurture their empathy and respect for the people who support our school community every day.
