“K is for Kindness!” That is the theme of our SSDB project. The title of the project is ‘Many helping hands to make a difference”.
To kickoff the Launch Party, Ms Syirah shared resources in the SSDB box, the details and activities that will be conducted during the duration of the project. Then, the teachers conducted a storytelling session titled ‘Grumpy Grandpa Ben’. After the storytelling session, children were encouraged to write down how they would show kindness towards the people around them on the pledge card. The pledge card will then be displayed on the kindness tree.
