In conjunction with World Environment Day on 5th June 2021, we embarked on the project ‘Let’s Save the Earth’ with the children from Little Footprints Preschool @ Choa Chu Kang.
The focus of the project is on caring for the environment, cleaning public spaces as well as recycling and zero waste. The children learnt how Man’s actions, no matter how miniscule it might seem, have an impact on the environment. For a better understanding, they watched a video on what happens to our plastic usage such as disposable plastic bottles, and how it will eventually land in the ocean.
Then, the children discussed their thoughts and opinions about playing their part to care for the Earth. Do keep a look out for their interview!
