PCF Sparkletots Preschool @ Jurong Spring Blk 528 (DS) Community Project with Jamiyah Children’s Home (Darul Ma’wa)

Start Small Dream Big Donation Drive

In conjunction with this year’s theme ‘Share the Love’, PCF Sparkletots Preschool @ Jurong Spring Blk 528 (DS) collaborated with the Jamiyah Children’s Home (Darul Ma’wa) and held our donation drive from 26 July 2021 to 31 August 2021. We collected useful items such as masks, tissue paper, plastic containers, zip- lock bags and drink packets during the donation drive. Our parents were very supportive and donated an abundance of items to us. After sorting the items, we packed them into boxes and bags for the delivery of the donation items.

On 4 September 2021, our Start Small Dream Big committee, together with our principal, Miss Rose, headed to the Jamiyah Children’s Home (Darul Ma’wa) with the donated items. We had delivered and handed the items to Miss Hidayah, the representative of the Jamiyah Children’s Home (Darul Ma’wa) successfully. We would like to thank Mr Mohamad Hosni Bin Abdul Malik, the Head of the Jamiyah Children’s Home (Darul Ma’wa) for this opportunity of collaborating in this project.

Our SSDB project allowed us to collaborate with our parents as well as do our part in helping others in our community amidst the pandemic. The children were actively involved in the launch and donation drive and were encouraging their families to do their part in the donation. They have also benefitted from the joy of sharing through this project.

Upon receiving the donations, Mr Mohamad Hosni Bin Abdul Malik, the Head of the Jamiyah Children’s Home (Darul Ma’wa) expressed his gratitude by writing an appreciation letter to us.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our parents and children of PCF Sparkletots Preschool @ Jurong Spring Blk 528 (DS) as well as the Jamiyah Children’s Home (Darul Ma’wa) for supporting our Start Small Dream Big project this year a success!

Our team, children and parents felt thrilled to have played a small role in this community project.

Below is the letter of appreciation from the Jamiyah Children’s Home (Darul Ma’wa)
