My First Skool @ Blk 308C commenced a SSDB pre-launching event on Earth Day celebration during circuit breaker. The children with limited services were engaged in story reading, arts and crafts making and playing games using recyclable materials. They learned the importance of 3Rs in the environment and its implication in making Singapore clean and safe. By caring for our environment, children also inspire love and care towards our countrymen especially to the frontliners and migrant workers who are still battling Covid-19.
The teachers also expressed and shared their thoughts in saving Earth through drawing and making posters.
Moreover, the teachers planned Earth Day Home-Based Learning activities to engage the children who stayed home during circuit breaker. The parents and the children were able to show their gratitude and heartfelt messages to our frontliners and migrant workers.
