This year for our K1 SSDB project, we are embarking on ‘Caring for our environment’. The first activity that we did with the children was to pick up dry leaves 🍃 in the garden. The children were excited and eager to participate in this outdoor activity. They were given disposable gloves to put on while they pick up the dry leaves on the grass. When we return back to the centre, the teacher taught the children to use the dry leaves to create an artwork. The children could creatively design the dry leaves into a house, ants, and butterflies! 🦋 In this activity, the children learnt that they play an important role to keep their environment clean, and dry leaves can be recycled and turn into a beautiful artwork!
