Enfant was abuzz with excitement last Thursday as we launched our Start Small, Dream Big (SSDB) 2020 project with our K1 and K2 classes. We are thrilled to finally be able to kickstart our project after having been delayed since April due to circuit-breaker measures. Our 6 month-long SSDB project is titled, “Kindness: It’s Your Choice!” to actively promote a culture and habit of kindness in Enfant.
Take a look at the highlights of our party! The K1 and K2 children did a good job in observing social distancing and safe measures throughout the event, allowing us to have a safe and memorable launch party.
We started off with understanding of what SSDB is all about — service learning, practicing good values and giving back to the community.
The children were then introduced to our project partner, the Singapore Kindness Movement (SKM) as well as one of the highlights of Enfant’s SSDB project, the Smiles Wall.
The launch party ended off with a sing-along of our Kindness Song, “Kindness Is Something If You Give It Away.”
We look forward to embarking on this project in the months ahead with our children and their families!
