This SPARK award winning centre serves busy professionals working and living in and around the central business district (CBD). The centre is a couple of minutes walk from both Tanjong Pagar as well as Raffles Place MRTs. The centre itself is spacious and houses facilities such as an indoor playground, music, and drama studio, and learning corners for pretend play, project work and reading. The atmosphere is well tuned to Learning Vision's philosophy where the child is seen as an active and self-directed learner. Suitable space is provided for the child to engage in exploratory activities under the guidance of teachers.
The centre is run by Audrey Tan. Audrey has decade long experience in early childhood education. The teachers at this centre are chosen for their humility and passion for working with the children and the parents. The teachers encourage the child to engage in learning activates with their peers and discover ideas and concepts.
The curriculum is separated into seven developmental areas – Communications, Language and Literacy, Early Numeracy, Environmental and Community Awareness, Technology, Personal and Social Development, Physical Skills and Well-being, and Creative Expressions. These developmental areas are interconnected and integrated by the Learning Quest and Project Hub curriculum.
Being in the central area also provides the children a good opportunity to perform cultural activities for their parents. The children can be seen in their enthusiastic best on special occasions such as Mother's Day. And nothing is a better testament to their confidence than the fact that they have even performed for the public at Marina bay.
