A) Terms and Conditions for 'NDP Kids!'
Contest Contestants

  • Contest is open to Singapore citizens and permanent residents aged 6 to 12 years old and Primary Schools in Singapore only.
  • Contestants can submit as many entries (entries mean blogs, reflections, photos, pages, quiz answers) as they want between 6 July – 31 July 2009
  • The contestant must own all property rights (including copyrights) to the entry submitted, and must be capable of transferring legal ownership of the entry to the Singapore Government, as required under these Terms and Conditions.
  • Submission ends at midnight of 31 July 2009.
  • Entries submitted before 6 July 2009 or after 31 July 2009 will not be considered/accepted.
  • Contestant’s school will be contacted via email if submitted entries are shortlisted.
  • Entries must not contain obscene or offensive content.
  • Contestants enter the contest at their own risk and NDP 2009 EXCO Committee and the Singapore Government shall not be responsible for any unauthorized publication, public communication, adaptation and/or duplication of entries submitted.
  • By entering the Contest, contestants agree to transfer their ownership rights (including all intellectual property rights) of the entries submitted, to the Singapore Government & Little Lives (A Little Company Pte Ltd). If requested or if necessary, contestants shall complete further documents to ensure the transfer of such rights (including all intellectual property rights) to the Singapore Government & Little Lives.
  • The Singapore Government and NDP 2009 EXCO and Little Lives reserve the right to use the entries in any publicity/promotion materials with appropriate credit given to the contestant.

B) General Terms and Conditions

  • There will be 1 ‘NDP Kid of the Year’ and 1 ‘NDP School of the Year’. Other prizes may also be awarded for weekly contests or for completion of NDP Kids achievements.
  • 50% of the score will be from online recommends for entries submitted or for quizzes answered correctly. The other 50% comes from judging by the NDP 2009 Team based on the submitted entries’ content.
  • All winners will be announced on the website (and publication, if any) after 31 July 2009. Winners will be notified via email.
  • Prizes are not exchangeable under any circumstances.
  • Prizes must be collected within 30days of notification. Any prize not collected within the time specified will be forfeited and the NDP 2009 EXCO and the Singapore Government shall not be liable to any person for any losses, damages or any other liability suffered in the event of any such forfeiture.
  • NDP 2009 EXCO reserves the right to alter the Terms & Conditions without prior notice.
  • The NDP 2009 EXCO and Judge’s decision are final, conclusive and binding on all Contestants, and no correspondence will be entertained.
  • All costs (if any) incurred in participating in the Contest shall be at the sole expense of the Contestant.
  • The Contestant warrants that the information, details and particulars submitted by him/her to NDP 2009 EXCO are true, accurate and complete. Any untrue, inaccurate or incomplete details, information or particulars submitted may render the Contestant liable for disqualification.
  • Without prejudice to the other provisions of these Terms and Conditions, the NDP 2009 EXCO, Little Lives (A Little Company Pte Ltd) and the Singapore Government shall not be liable to any person for any losses, damages or any other liability suffered in connection with the Contest.
