Blog Post
National Day is just tomorrow! I am so excited! I have saved the best red and white clothing for this day! Throughout this whole week, I have been wearing red and white (except in school, where I need to wear uniform...
). This is what I call "Singapore week". It is the seven days before the actual National Day! I have saw the television advertisement on this year's National Day. It's going to be so cool! I remembered seeing one of the performances in the advertisement that some performers actually formed the lion head symbol! I am definitely looking forward to that one!
I also heard some of the Primary 5 pupils of my school talking about the NE show. By just hearing them talk about it, I somehow wished that I was born in the year 1998
! I heard that they received lovely goodie bags- more specifically, a sling bag! Frankly, I felt my face turned green with envy when I heard about that. During the last NE show which I attended, the goodie bag I received is made of plastic! Nevermind, I still loved the things in the bag especially the big hand and the Singapore Flag (Definitely love it!).
Of course, I am also looking forward to the "Pledge Moment" when we can recite the Singapore Pledge as one united people. I feel that we should treasure and love the Singapore Pledge and recite it with honour and... forget it, I don't want to sound like a broken record player because I have already typed this out as one of my blog post under "Singapore Pledge" (Please check it out!). I am definitely never going to miss the Fireworks! In fact, that is the one that I am looking forward to the most! The fireworks is so extraodinary as it not only lit up the night sky, but it also lit up many Singaporeans' heart including... I forgot I already typed this in my other blog post "Singapore National Day Parade" (Diaozzz... why do I keep typing the same thing I have posted before?
).
I guess that most of the things that I want to say were already mentioned in my previous blogs... Well anyways, we must always remember that Singapore is our homeland and this is where we belong (My favourite NE message!). We should always love Singapore as our country, our island and our homeland. Remember to catch the National Day Parade! It is going to be great!
